ESTIMATION/SALES

We understand how important it is to stay on budget. As leaders in the structural steel industry, our estimators are trained to do manual material take-offs and use estimating software to provide competitive estimates. Let us help you in the early stages to provide budgets and advice to meet your goals.

Upon a confirmed design, we’ll provide pricing and realistic schedules. We ensure that resources are available to complete your project on time, every time and on budget. We offer $5 million in peace of mind with our insurance coverage as well as bonding , available upon request.

DRAFTING/ PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Metal-Fab managers are assigned to projects as your primary contact throughout any project. Along with technical designers, our managers are an integral part of the entire process.

Our drafting teams both in and out-of-house solve unique challenges. They provide state-of-the-art software shop and erection drawings. They are reviewed by a registered professional engineer and undergo a rigorous checking process. Critical dimensions are field confirmed by our drafting department utilizing multidirectional or rotating lasers. This ensures your project fits right the first time thus avoiding costly delays.

Trust our experienced managers to make sure the construction schedule stays on schedule and on budget. They are available and are key to making sure trades, customer requests and our in-house teams are working in sync.

SHOP

Our 20,000sq.ft. fabrication facility built in 2016 is ready to handle all of today’s toughest steel design projects. Equipped with four 10-ton, one 5-ton overhead cranes, plus two 2-ton jib cranes, there’s no job too big or small for Metal-Fab.

We have a well-organized team of skilled trades people who are well-organized, efficient, and knowledgeable about steel fabrication equipment such as our tow (2) Python X Beam Line Fabrication System and plasma cutting table, the foundations of our high standards and quality workmanship.

Field

Our field crews of ironworkers and CWB-certified welders follow strict health & safety guidelines including providing engineered erection procedures and safety procedures for all of our projects as required by OH &S. They are supervised by experienced and reliable crew leaders who are promoted withing, given extensive training and incremental levels of responsibility. Our crew leaders are trained in layout and shooting elevations utilizing laser-based equipment to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
