Health and safety program

We take workplace safety inspections of our shop and field sites very seriously. A maintenance program of our tools, equipment and facilities is in place. Furthermore, our employees are continuously trained in safe work procedures, site hazard assessments and controls as well as basic training like First Aid or WHIMIS.

Our health and safety committee regularly meets to review all aspects of our safety program to ensure our high standards for safety are maintained. Incidents, near misses or other potentially harmful events are investigated promptly if or when they occur.

Training for emergency planning, first-aid requirements and maintaining comprehensive statistics of our past safety performance are core to our safety program. All management and staff receive training. We ensure it is woven into our training matrix for all employees. Our commitment to training is outlined in our company Health & Safety Policy.

Quality program

Starting with our drafting, document control, shop quality inspections and field erection checklists, our extensive Quality Control Plan covers every aspect of our operations from start to finish.

As we are subject to random inspections by CWB, we work with independent third-party inspectors on most larger size projects. These checks and balances are assurances that our customers projects will always meet and exceed expectations, achieving the highest quality in the safest manner possible.
